Where to Find the Best Breakfast Sandwiches in Charles Village

Greenmount Ave is known for many things, but mostly illicit activities. But hey, any reputation is better than no reputation!

While you can score some dope just down the road, I like to stick with just a breakfast sandwich at Pete’s Grille.

Nobody can really compete with a New Jersey taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich on a Kaiser roll, but Pete’s definitely comes close. The breakfast counter gives absurdly big portions without the overcharge.

The menu is something you’d expect from a diner, no real surprises. To be honest, I don’t really look at the menu as I consistently order a bacon egg and cheese bagel. If it ain’t broke, why fix it?

The only downside to this Charles Village secret is that it really is only a breakfast place: it closes at 1PM. So come early!

While Pete’s Grille won’t steal your money, the corner kids on Greemount definitely will, so definitely be careful.
