Take Me Out to the Ballgame: An Orioles’ Game

by Catherine Fleet

The Oriole Park at Camden Yards is home to the Baltimore Orioles, a major league baseball team. The ballpark is located in downtown Baltimore, and is also referred to as Camden Yards.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit Baltimore, or own any orange clothing, attending an Orioles game is absolutely necessary. This stadium was one of the first “retro” major league ballparks in the country during its establishment in the late 90s. The park is a huge attraction that can house over 40,000 spectators and has hosted over 50 million people throughout its history. The stadium is the third most visited ballpark in the nation behind Dodger and Yankee Stadium. Games are held weekly throughout the summer, and the stadium becomes filled with anxious, orange-clad fans. Whether you’re a fan of Cracker Jacks or Baltimore’s own Natty Boh, these popular ball games are not to be missed.
